Granting automatic access to your mic.
It can become annoying having to constantly grant microphone permissions. If you adjust the settings for your browser this can be done automatically - without sacrificing privacy. The steps for each browser / device are a bit different. We're presenting the step-by-step for the most common browsers and devices here. If you have a request for another one please post a comment! Chrome on desktop computers
Click the lock in the address field and choose “site settings”.
Under, “sound” select “allow”.
Reload the page.
From now on, the test app will activate your mic automatically!

Firefox on desktop computers
Click the microphone in the address field.
Choose the internal microphone, remember, and then click the “allow” button.
Now click the controls icon and choose to “allow Audio and video.”
From now on, the test app will open automatically!

Safari on desktop computers
Click Safari, preferences, choose autoplay and now, “allow all autoplay”
Then choose microphone, and alongside the Semantica website choose, “allow”
From now on, the test app will open automatically!

Firefox on iPhone
Under your phone’s settings, find the Firefox icon.
Click it, and turn on the microphone.
From now on, the test app will open automatically.

Under your phone’s settings, find the Safari icon.
Click it, and scroll down to the website settings and choose microphone, “allow”.
