This dialog is the logical second part of Caiu! Brazilians will often take English words and spell them in their own way. "Blaqout" is one of the more creative ones that I've seen 😉

bem batida = well mixed. The past participle of BATER is batido(a). The reason it takes the feminine ending "a" is because they're telking about a bebidA or, uma caipririnhA.

She could have also said: botei instead of coloquei - no difference.

"Finder" is not a new Portuguese word to learn it's soimply taht Siri is an Apple creation so she's referring to the Mac operating system, the Finder.

Grammar: past participles

A past participle is just a verb conjugation that describes something that is over and done: written, said, cooked, closed etc.

A porta está aberta. (The door is opened.)

O projeto é completado. (The project is completed.)

Ela está cansada. (She's tired.)

Ele foi morto. (He was killed.)

*The endings must take the gender of the subject:
a porta está aberta

Grammar: ser & estar

Ser is for somewhat permanent characteristics. Don’t take this too literally – nothing is truly permanent 😉

very permanent ➜ Meu nome é Raquel. ➜ My name is Raquel.

somewhat permanent ➜ Eu sou brasileiro. ➜ I'm Brazilian.)

not so permanent ➜ Ele é casado. ➜ He's married.

Estar is for temporary passing things.

Eu estou cansado. (I'm tired.)

Como você está? (How are you?)

The aí here translates to, hey there. Remember, there are 3 words for "there": aí, ale & lá. Whenever you are saying there right where you are - you must use aí.

"Finder" is not a new Portuguese word to learn 😉 Siri is an Apple creation so she's referring to the Mac operating system, the Finder. Siri says I'm as happy as the Finder... -- you'll see the pattern, tão x quanto y used very often. It's extremely useful (and you'll impress others!) so, add it to your flashcard deck agora.
