Days of the Week

Os dias da semana, Português do Brasil.

When someone forst tried to explain the days of the week in Portuguese, I thought they just didn;t understand my question. I was expecting something more like the spanish version with a "lunes" or a "miercoles" etc. And it does have at least 2 days in common - the week end. Aside from that it's super simple bacause, the days are just "numbered". So, after Sunday it's just: "the second market day" , "the third..." and so on.

I'm not really sure what day was originally the first market day. "Feira" means "fair" which is an old-fashined way of saying "market"
